The Cultural and Creative Grants programme, administered by Clarence City Council (Tasmania, Australia), supports a wide range of artistic and cultural projects – visual art, theatre, performance, writing, literature, music and community‑focused events. Eligible applicants include self‑employed artists, musicians, performers and not‑for‑profit arts organisations, provided they are 18 years or older and can demonstrate a benefit to the Clarence community. Grants range from $500 to $10,000 (cash and in‑kind, including venue hire at Rosny Farm Arts Centre). Applications are accepted in two annual rounds; the current 2026 July round opened on 1 July and closes on 16 September 2026. Applications are submitted via the SmartyGrants portal, and the process is free of charge. Successful projects must commence after 1 January 2026, align with the Council’s Cultural Creative Strategy 2022‑2032, and include a detailed budget and evidence of insurance.
