Projects should demonstrate artistic excellence and contribute to cultural tourism, creative placemaking, and public engagement. Applicants must submit a completed application form, project narrative, detailed budget, timeline (with all work completed by September 30, 2027), CV, biography, annotated work samples, and a tourism & public benefit narrative. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. Central Time on August 23, 2026. Selected projects will receive grant funding up to $75,000 and are expected to fulfill reporting requirements and complete all deliverables by September 30, 2027. The program is part of the ADC’s transition to a quarterly municipal arts funding model, aiming to increase access, transparency, and support for Galveston’s artistic community.
