The Yasmine Laraqui Studio Residency offers artists the opportunity to live and work in Casablanca, Morocco, for a period of 1–3 months. The program is designed as a research, experimentation and exchange residency, encouraging participants to engage with the city’s cultural landscape and contemporary social dynamics. Residents receive a private studio space, accommodation, curatorial support and the chance to present their work in a final exhibition or public presentation organized by the studio. The call is open to artists working across visual arts, installation, photography, multimedia, performance and research‑based practices, especially projects that explore contemporary culture, technology, identity and the relationship between art and society. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from June 2026 to June 2027. To apply, artists must submit a CV or short biography, a portfolio or work links, a brief project proposal (max 1 page) and preferred residency dates. The residency operates on a self‑funded basis with a participation fee of $1000 USD per month, which covers accommodation, studio access, curatorial support and the final exhibition.
