The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec (CALQ), together with the regional county municipalities (MRC) of Coaticook, du Granit, de Memphremagog, des Sources, du Val-Saint-Francois, Le Haut-Saint-Francois, de La Haute-Yamaska and de Brome-Missisquoi, the City of Sherbrooke, the Table des MRC de l'Estrie and the Conseil de la culture de l'Estrie (CCE), has launched a new call for projects under the Estrie Territorial Partnership Program. The partners have invested a total of 1,080,000 dollars, with 540,000 dollars from CALQ and 540,000 dollars from the regional partners. Spread over three years (2026 to 2029), the funding supports creation, production and diffusion projects that strengthen the links between the arts and the community across the Estrie region and beyond. The call is open to professional artists, writers and arts organizations whose principal address is located within the territory of one of the partners. Submitted projects must involve partnership initiatives connected to the community or to regional participants. Applicants are invited to adopt an inclusive vision, taking into account people from cultural minorities, immigrants, Indigenous people and people with disabilities when developing their projects. The program is administered by CALQ, which has supported artistic creation across Quebec for decades. The Conseil de la culture de l'Estrie, active in the region's cultural development since 1977, brings together and supports artists, organizations and cultural workers from all artistic and cultural disciplines throughout the Estrie territory, favoring a multisectoral and multidisciplinary approach.
