BOARC provides a flexible, low‑cost environment for artists, musicians, theatre practitioners, philosophers, bodyworkers, and other creative professionals to conduct research and experimentation. The centre offers a range of facilities including a wood workshop, recording studio, rehearsal room, body‑work room, and shared accommodation with up to 22 beds. Stayers can book for a minimum of two days and a maximum of one month, with a sliding‑scale fee ranging from £15 to £35 depending on resources. There is no formal application process; interested artists simply email enquiries@bidstonobservatory.org with a brief description of their practice and intended project. The space encourages self‑organisation, community building, and experimentation without pressure for public presentation or ownership of work produced on site. BOARC welcomes all artists and groups, providing a supportive environment for creative exploration.
