The 8th Chelsea International Photography Competition 2026 invites photographers from around the globe to participate in one of the most notable annual showcases of contemporary photography. Organized by New York Art Competitions and hosted in the Chelsea art district of Manhattan, the competition offers the chance for 30 photographers to exhibit their work in a professional gallery space. With a total prize pool valued at over $55,000, the competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers worldwide. Submissions are accepted until November 3, 2026, and winners will be announced on December 1, 2026. The contest imposes no thematic limitations, allowing a wide range of photographic subjects and styles. Entry fees are $45 for amateurs and $55 for professionals (up to five images), with additional images costing $5 each. Prizes include a group exhibition in New York, $500 cash awards for five winners, an Avant Max Creator Kit, online features on ARTmine, social‑media promotion, and complimentary entry to the next edition for honorable mentions. Eligibility requires participants to be at least 18 years old, worldwide residency, and to submit digital files (JPG/JPEG, minimum 72 dpi, 200 KB). Collaborative works of up to two photographers are permitted. All images must be available for sale, and the organizers retain limited usage rights for promotional purposes.
