Torpedo Factory Art Center
この機会について
The Torpedo Factory Art Center’s 2026 Post‑Graduation Residency is a competitive juried program that provides emerging artists who have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the visual arts with a three‑month solo studio space in the nation’s longest continuously operated community of publicly accessible artist studios. Residents receive free studio use with utilities, a $500 stipend per term for supplies, access to the Center’s facilities (including a spray booth for toxic media), the ability to sell work without commission, and support from staff and the wider artist community. Each resident must commit 24 hours per week in‑studio, lead one public‑facing program, and engage with visitors. The residency runs in four possible terms (February–April, May–July, August–October, November–January). Applications are free and due by 31 October 2026 (12:00 PM). Eligibility requires a visual‑arts degree earned within the past five years and residence within 40 miles of the Center (greater Washington, DC region). Housing and travel are not provided.
