The Lighthouse Works Fellowship is a six‑week, fully funded residency located on Fishers Island, New York. Fellows receive private housing, shared kitchen and living spaces, and a private studio located a short walk from the house. The program provides $1,750 in financial support, meals prepared by staff, and access to a wood‑and‑metal fabrication shop and kiln. Artists of any discipline and career stage are encouraged to apply. The application window opens each year from September 1 to October 1, with selection panels meeting in mid‑October through December. Fellows are expected to pursue their work and participate in two public events—a talk and an open studio—bookending the residency. The program is supported by grants from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and other donors.
