ラダー・アート・プライズ 2026

The Ladder Art Prize is an annual open‑entry art award hosted by Ladder Art Space in Kew, Victoria, Australia. Open to living artists aged 16 and over, residing in Australia or overseas, the prize welcomes works in all mediums that fit within a maximum size of 35 × 35 × 35 cm (including framing). Artists may submit up to eight works per entry, paying a non‑refundable fee of $55 (inc. GST) per artwork. The competition runs from 1 August 2026 (entries open) to 10 November 2026 (entries close). Accepted works are exhibited from 20 November to 5 December 2026, with a celebration event on 27 November. The award offers over $6,000 in total prizes, including a First Prize of $2,000 (split into a $1,000 cash prize and a $1,000 credit toward a solo exhibition in 2027), a Second Prize of $1,000 (split similarly), an Emerging Artist Prize of $500 cash, a People’s Choice Award of $250 cash, and three professional framing vouchers from Studio9Art. Additional benefits include national and international exposure, the chance to connect with curators and collectors, and the opportunity for artworks to be sold (subject to a 35 % gallery commission). All artworks are exhibited, and artists may mark works as Not For Sale. Delivery of artworks is required in person or via courier between 17–19 November, with collection in early December. The prize is recurring, with new editions each year.
