Residenza artistica di Wairarapa 2027

The Wairarapa Artist Residency 2027 invites performing‑arts artists from the Wairarapa region to apply for a five‑day workshop slot in February 2027. The residency provides a dedicated space in the Wairarapa Events Centre auditorium, complete with sound and lighting support from on‑site technicians, allowing artists to develop a new live‑performance concept. Participants may also choose to present a showing of their work to an invited audience for feedback. The call is open to both emerging and established artists. Eligibility requires applicants to be over 18 years old and based in the Wairarapa. Applications are submitted via an online form and must include a 300‑word project proposal, a performing‑arts CV, bios for key collaborators, an indicative budget, documentation of past work (up to five images and five links), and website or social media links. The deadline for applications is 3 November 2026, with the residency taking place from 1 to 5 February 2027. Applicants are encouraged to also apply for the Creative Communities Grants round to cover additional workshopping costs.
