Voucher Art Event: Mexico Art Week 2027

The Voucher Art Event is a grant provided by the Mondriaan Fund in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Mexico City. It enables visual artists from the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom, with at least one year of professional practice, to attend Mexico Art Week 2027 (3–7 February 2027). Selected artists receive admission to the Zona Maco preview days, participation in a curated programme, an invitation to a networking event, a hotel stay from 2 to 7 February, and a €1,300 contribution towards travel expenses. Applications are submitted online via the “Mexico Art Week 2027 (English version)” form and must include a CV and a motivation statement. The deadline is 10 September 2026 (16:00 CET / 10:00 Caribbean time). Applicants must not be enrolled in full‑time education and must be available to stay in Mexico City for the full period. After the visit, a written evaluation is required. The grant aims to strengthen the international position of Dutch and Caribbean visual artists by expanding their professional network and understanding of the Latin American visual arts field.
