XVII CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE DI FISARMONICA “ASCOLTATE 2026”

The XVII International Accordion Competition “Ascoltate 2026” is a juried event organized by the CreArt Network in partnership with PE Artkomas, the Kaunas Accordion Society, the Kaunas J. Gruodis Conservatory, and the Kaunas 1st Music School. The competition invites young accordionists from the cities participating in the CreArt Network of Cities for Artistic Creation—including Aveiro, Valladolid, České Budějovice, Clermont‑Ferrand, Rouen, Zagreb, Lublin, Liepāja, Lviv, Oulu, Regensburg, Skopje, and Venice—to compete either as soloists or as members of ensembles or orchestras. The event will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania, at the Kaunas J. Gruodis Conservatory concert hall on November 27–28, 2026, and will consist of a single live round. Participants must submit a program of at least two compositions reflecting different moods; the jury will select the top two ensembles in each category for monetary prizes. The competition is open to participants of various age groups, with categories defined by the organizers. The application deadline is 24 October 2026, and the competition is free for participants from CreArt Network cities. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the competitors, and no accommodation is provided. The event offers a platform for young accordionists to showcase their talent, receive professional feedback, and potentially win Grand Prix money prizes, diplomas, and cups.
