Informazioni su Questa Opportunità

The Toronto Arts Council (TAC) Accessibility Grant is an additional funding programme available to recipients of TAC project grants. It offers up to a maximum of $5,000 to cover accessibility accommodations required by Deaf artists, artists with disabilities, or key contributors with disabilities who are directly involved in delivering an approved TAC‑funded project. Eligible expenses include sign‑language interpretation, audio description, communications assistants, support workers or attendant care, equipment and technology rentals, software licences for the project duration, low‑cost hardware or software purchases (under $100), mental‑health supports directly related to the project, and other necessary accommodations. Applicants must already hold an active TAC project grant, the project must be unfinished, and the request must be made within two years of the original grant notification date. The grant is applied for through TAC Grants Online on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline, and may be requested multiple times per project up to the $5,000 limit. The programme does not cover audience accessibility, artist fees, capital purchases, building renovations, long‑term rentals, or support for unconfirmed contributors. This grant aims to remove disability‑related barriers and ensure equitable participation of artists and key contributors in the creation and delivery of arts projects in Toronto, Canada.
