Saltwater 2 – Una mostra dedicata all’arte del surf irlandese

Kevin Lowery Gallery & Studio, in partnership with the Saltwater Festival, is launching Saltwater 2 – An Exhibition of Irish Surf Art. The exhibition will run from Friday 25 September to Sunday 11 October 2026 in Bundoran, a renowned surf town on Ireland’s Atlantic coast. Artists are invited to submit paintings, prints, photographs, mixed‑media, sculpture or any visual art that engages with surfing, coastal life, the ocean, environmental themes or the cultural identity of Ireland’s Atlantic edge. Submissions open on 1 August 2026 and close on 30 August 2026 (10 PM). Each applicant may submit up to two works, all of which must be ready to hang or display and available for sale; the gallery applies a 30 % commission on sales. The call is open to artists residing in Ireland, especially those connected to the Northwest coast or surf culture. Selected works will be featured in the exhibition, receive marketing and promotion, inclusion in the exhibition catalogue, and an opening reception. No artist fee is offered; participation is unpaid. The call is free to apply, with no submission fee. The exhibition offers exposure, sales opportunities, and inclusion in a nationally‑promoted festival programme.
