Rossonove - Residenza artistica “Zero Land Consumption”
Rossonove
Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The Rossonove residency "Zero Land Consumption: Reimagining the Ligurian Coast" invites artists of any discipline and career stage to spend three weeks in Western Liguria, engaging with the landscape and its transformations. The program is designed to foster creative interventions that reconnect the local community with its environment, following the association’s guiding principle of "zero land consumption"—working within existing spaces without further exploitation. Participants will be based at La Casa della Rosa Gialla, a welcoming home with a coworking space that serves as their base for the duration of the residency. They will be introduced to a variety of sites along the Ligurian coast, including contested coastlines, abandoned industrial waterfronts, mountain hamlets, and historic roads, providing diverse contexts for site‑specific work. The residency offers accommodation, a workspace, and documentation support under open licenses, with assistance in presenting the work at the end of the program. Applicants are asked to submit a short proposal and a sample of their work, with no required format, age limit, or CV. The call is open to all artists, with no restrictions on discipline or career stage. The application deadline is 31 October 2026, and the residency runs in two periods: March–June and October–November 2026. Travel costs to and from Alassio are not covered, but housing is provided.
