Can Serrat, a historic Catalan masia located in El Bruc near Montserrat, invites artists of any discipline, age, nationality, and career stage to apply for a year‑long rolling residency in 2026. The call is open continuously, with selections announced at the beginning of each month. Applicants may submit individually, as duos, or as collectives. The residency offers a range of accommodation options: shared room (€998.70/month), private room (€1,578.90/month), or studio only (€254.50/month). All options include community meals, basic supplies, and occasional communal dinners. Residents gain full access to studio spaces, workshops, equipment, and the community life of Can Serrat, as well as transportation for organized activities. The program is partially subsidised by the Generalitat de Catalunya, covering a portion of the monthly cost. The residency duration varies from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on availability, and is scheduled throughout 2026. The application requires a project proposal (video, images, or audio) and a brief written summary, submitted via a PDF. No curriculum vitae or artist statement is required.
