Residenza 2027 del Siena Art Institute in Italia

The Siena Art Institute (SART) invites artists and writers from around the world to apply for its 2027 Residency Program in Siena, Italy. The program offers three residency categories—Studio Residency, Studio/Casa Residency (including a private 1‑bedroom apartment), and Summer Residency (including a private 1‑bedroom apartment and up to $1,200 flight compensation). With a single $50 application fee, applicants may apply to one or more categories. Residents receive a private studio, uninterrupted time for research and production, and access to an international creative community. Summer residents must hold an MFA or equivalent and be fluent in English, Italian, ASL, or LIS. Small collaborative groups of 2–3 may apply for shared residency space. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2026 (midnight Italian time). Selected residents are invited to contribute to the Institute’s cultural life through open studios, performances, screenings, and workshops.
