Informazioni su Questa Opportunità

Wave Farm’s Research and Production Program is an international open call for the 2027 season, supporting the development of transmission‑based artwork and radio‑related projects. The program comprises two 10‑day residencies (Transmission Art and Spatial Sound) and two 2‑month fellowships (Radio Art Research and Community Engagement). Residents receive a $1,000 stipend; fellows receive $2,000. All participants are housed in the Wave Farm Study Center in Acra, New York, with private bedrooms, studio workspace, kitchenette, and access to a research library, broadcast studio, and spatial sound studio. Technical assistance, equipment, mentorship, and transportation from nearby transit hubs are provided. Applicants must have a significant body of transmission‑related work or demonstrate the capacity to develop such a project; full‑time students are generally ineligible, and DJ‑set projects are excluded. The call encourages applications from women, gender‑non‑conforming people, and people of colour. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on 1 December 2026, with notifications in late February. Successful applicants receive accommodation, a stipend, and the opportunity to engage with Wave Farm Radio (WGXC 90.7‑FM).
