Informazioni su Questa Opportunità

The Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, in partnership with La Briqueterie and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, invites former revue and cabaret dancers based in Paris or the greater Paris area, with professional experience in French cabaret and revue theatre, to participate in a new performance project. The project explores ageing, visibility of mature bodies, and the place of older artists in contemporary choreography, drawing on the traditions of French revue and its Polish counterparts. Development will take place through workshops at La Briqueterie (Vitry‑sur‑Seine, France) from 11 to 15 December 2026, followed by a four‑week artistic residency at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Poland. The residency concludes with a public work‑in‑progress presentation. Applicants must submit personal details, a recent photograph (and optionally archival photos), a short description of their professional experience, a personal statement about their connection to the revue tradition, and optionally a short video introduction. The deadline for applications is 20 November 2026, after which selected participants will be invited to an audition in Paris. The project is part of the bilateral cultural programme Sezon Francja‑Polska 2027 (Saison Pologne‑France 2027).
