The Queensland Arts Project Fund (QAPF) is a state‑level grant program administered by Arts Queensland that provides one‑off funding to support the development and presentation of new creative work by Queensland‑based individuals, arts companies, groups and organisations. Round 3 opens on 7 August 2026 and closes on 21 September 2026, with notification beginning in mid‑December 2026 and activity start on 25 January 2027. Grants are awarded in three streams: a General stream of up to $70,000 for projects up to one year, an Individuals stream of up to $20,000 for projects up to one year, and an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stream of up to $70,000 for projects up to one year. An additional $10,000 may be requested to cover accessibility and inclusion costs. Eligible applicants must be Queensland‑based, Australian citizens or permanent residents, over 18, hold an active ABN, and meet other administrative criteria. Projects must be completed by 31 December 2028 and can span a wide range of art forms including visual arts, performing arts, music, writing and multi‑arts. The fund supports creative development, production, presentation, exhibition and distribution of new work, and collaboration with nationally or internationally significant artists or companies.
