Programma di residenza “Open Studio” della Struts Gallery 2027 – Canada

Struts Gallery, an artist‑run centre in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada, invites professional visual and media artists to apply for its 2027 Open Studio Residency Program. The residency runs for five weeks and is offered in two periods: August 11 – September 22, 2027 and September 29 – November 3, 2027. Selected artists receive a private studio of approximately 400 sq ft with 24‑hour access, a furnished two‑bedroom apartment on the second floor, and technical and logistical assistance from gallery staff. Residents are expected to engage the local community through at least one public event such as an artist talk or workshop. The program is open to artists at any career stage, but current students are ineligible. No cash stipend or travel reimbursement is mentioned; applicants should contact the gallery for any additional financial support. Applications are free and must be submitted by 19 October 2026 (11:59 ADT). The selection process involves staff eligibility review, a committee shortlist, and Zoom interviews. Accessibility notes indicate limited wheelchair access but welcome guide dogs and service animals.
