La politica in collage: rapporto intermedio sull’ascesa dell’autoritarismo
Kolaj Institute
Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The Kolaj Institute invites collage artists worldwide to join a four‑week virtual residency (14 September – 5 October 2026) focused on the theme of authoritarianism. Participants will receive a copy of The Authoritarian Regime Survival Guide, attend weekly online sessions with curators, scholars and peer artists, and develop a series of collages that respond to contemporary political developments. Throughout the program, artists will receive mentorship, feedback on their work, and the opportunity to publish their pieces in a collective zine titled Mid‑term Report on the Rise of Authoritarianism. The residency concludes with a live online event on 26 October 2026 where artists present their work. Open to collage practitioners of any career stage over the age of 21, the call is global and free of geographic restrictions. A participation fee of $600 USD is required, though the Institute offers need‑based grants to offset the cost. Applications are accepted via an online form and must include a brief bio, artist statement, and 5–7 images of recent work. The residency provides a supportive virtual community, professional exposure, and a tangible publication, making it an ideal platform for socially engaged collage artists.
