Pastel 100 – 28° Concorso annuale di pittura

Pastel Journal and Artists Network present the 28th Annual Pastel 100 art competition, an international contest for artists working primarily in soft pastel. The competition offers a total of one hundred prizes across five categories: Animal + Wildlife, Abstract + Non‑Objective, Landscape + Interior, Portrait + Figure, and Still Life + Floral. Winners receive cash awards, premium pastel supplies, a one‑year Artists Network membership, and publication of their artwork in the Spring 2027 issue of Pastel Journal and on ArtistsNetwork.com. The jury includes established pastel artists such as Tara Will, Christine Swann, Steph Mouw, and Catherine Lidden. Entries are accepted from artists worldwide aged 18 or older. Works must be at least 80 % soft pastel, two‑dimensional, and may not include oil pastel, photography (except minor collage elements), sculpture, digital art, or AI‑generated imagery. Winners will be notified by late November 2026. The competition runs on an annual cycle, with the final deadline on 26 August 2026.

Open to artists worldwide aged 18 or older. Must be at least 80 % soft pastel; no oil pastel, hard pastel, photography (except minor collage), sculpture, digital art, or AI‑generated work. Two‑dimensional works only; mixed media depth ≤ 1 inch.
