Fondo Creative Impact

The Creative Impact Fund, administered by Creative New Zealand, provides up to NZ$125,000 in funding for individual artists and practitioners to deliver arts activities that enrich audiences and communities. Grants can support creation, presentation, distribution, knowledge‑sharing and audience‑engagement projects lasting up to 18 months. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents and may apply as an individual or a group of collaborators; arts organisations cannot apply. Funding above NZ$50,000 requires evidence of additional revenue. An extra accessibility payment is available for Deaf or disabled applicants. Applications are submitted through the Creative New Zealand portal and are assessed by peer reviewers. The current round (2026 Round 2) opened 17 August 2026 and closes 17 September 2026.
