Bando pubblico AI e XR 2027 – Borsa di studio artistica a Berlino

The OPEN CALL 2027, part of the EU‑funded IUNO – Innovation Centre for Intelligent and Immersive Technologies in the Independent Cultural Scene at HTW Berlin, seeks strong artistic concepts that synthesize artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR) into interactive cultural experiences. The call is open to individuals and teams from visual arts, music, literature, performing arts, design, photography and video art, with a thematic focus on "Anthropomorphism – Between Human and Machine". Selected applicants will receive a fellowship starting in February 2027, which includes mentorship from interdisciplinary experts, a workspace at the Research Centre for Culture and Computer Science, state‑of‑the‑art hardware and software, a public networking event, and a 500 € fee for the final public presentation. The programme runs roughly from February to December 2027, following a structured development schedule. Applications are accepted by email and must include a motivation letter, concept description (2–5 pages) with visualisation, work‑package outline, and short CVs. Applicants must be based in Berlin and possess basic knowledge of XR and AI technologies. An information session is scheduled for 21 October 2026 via Zoom.
