Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The OASis Residency, organized by KIBLA (Association for Culture and Education KIBLA) in Maribor, Slovenia, is a site‑responsive program running from 19 to 27 November 2026. It seeks two artists, researchers or interdisciplinary practitioners working across analog and digital media—including audio‑visual, fine art, performance, literature and community‑based practices—to develop research‑driven projects that engage with the local environment, cultural heritage and the city’s social context. Applicants must reside in an EU Member State or a country eligible under the Creative Europe programme. The residency offers a gross artist fee of €1300, a travel budget up to €300, accommodation in Maribor (private or shared), access to studio and workspaces, curatorial support, and agreed‑upon materials and production support. Proposals should be original, grounded in the local context and capable of audience participation or collaborative practice. Submissions are to be sent by 19 October 2026 to kibla@kibla.org and must include a CV, portfolio, a concise artistic proposal (max 300 words or 10‑slide PDF) and optional short audio‑visual material. Results will be announced by 26 October 2026. The residency is part of the EU‑funded OASis network, which connects creative spaces across Europe to democratise access to the arts.
