New Ground – Access in Process – Invito agli artisti

New Ground – Access in Process is a development opportunity and future sharing event (November 2026) hosted by BOP Theatre in Glasgow. The call supports two new works‑in‑progress created by pairs of artists/practitioners, at least one of whom must identify as D/deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent. Artists receive paid time (£1,000 each for one week) and a £1,000 production budget to embed access elements such as captions, sign language, audio description or relaxed principles. BOP provides in‑kind consultation, mentoring, and can help source specialist collaborators and space for the event day. Applications open in July 2026 and close at midnight on Sunday 13 September 2026. Two information sessions are offered on 12 August and 3 September. Selected pairs will develop their piece during a week of supported work and present a 10‑20 minute work‑in‑progress to a peer and industry audience in late November 2026.
