Natimuk Exile
Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
Natimuk Exile is an artist residency founded by Dr Greg Pritchard in the artistic enclave of Natimuk, Wimmera, Victoria, Australia. The program provides a fully furnished house with a dedicated studio space (approximately 4 m × 4 m), allowing artists to work in a tranquil rural setting surrounded by striking landscapes such as the Grampians National Park, salt lakes, and the Djurite (Mt Arapiles) climbing area. The residency is open to artists of all disciplines, including visual arts, sound, media, performance, writing, and interdisciplinary practices. Applications are accepted at any time, with no fixed deadline, and there is no application fee. Residents receive housing and studio facilities, as well as the opportunity to engage with the local artistic community and the broader Natimuk arts scene, which includes the biennial ACT Natimuk festival. Past residents have included both Australian and international artists. The residency aims to inspire new work through immersion in the unique natural and cultural environment of the Wimmera region.
