Informazioni su Questa Opportunità

The Market Access Strategy for Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC) Fund is a strategic grant administered by the Canada Council for the Arts. It aims to increase the access of Canadian professional artists, arts workers, artistic groups and arts organisations that self‑identify as belonging to an Official Language Minority Community (OLMC) – for example, Anglophones in Quebec and Francophones outside Quebec. Applicants must be eligible for Canada Council programs and must self‑identify as an OLMC applicant in the portal. Eligible applicants include individual artists, arts workers, First Nations, Inuit or Métis artists and cultural carriers, artistic groups, arts‑supporting organisations, and presenting organisations. The fund supports activities that enhance market access such as market research, participation in cultural trade fairs, professional development residencies, capacity‑building workshops, sub‑titling, translation of promotional materials, and related travel and equipment costs. Ineligible activities are the creation of new artistic works. The grant can cover up to CAD 60,000 per calendar year (maximum 12 applications per year) for eligible expenses, including travel, accommodation, translation, sub‑titling, equipment (up to 15 % of the grant), and other market‑access related costs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; there is no fixed deadline, and proposals must be submitted before the intended project start date. Results are typically notified within five months of submission.
