Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The Lake House Residency Program, run by Lake Macquarie City Council, offers artists a unique opportunity for creative development, research and cultural exchange in regional Australia. Four fully funded residencies are available for the 2027‑2028 period, providing a fully furnished house that accommodates up to six people, with three bedrooms, a dedicated work space and studio facilities. The residence is situated in Speers Point, a leafy suburb beside Lake Macquarie, two hours from Sydney and 30 minutes from Newcastle. In addition to the funded placements, subsidised self‑funded residencies are offered to artists living outside the Hunter Region. Applicants must pay a $5,000 entry fee. The program expects residents to engage with local arts and cultural events during their stay. The deadline for applications is 22 October 2026.
