Verum Ultimum Art Gallery, based in Portland, Oregon, is calling for artists to transcend the mundane and explore the beyond in their newest themed call, “In the Realm of the Mystic.” The exhibition will be entirely online, allowing artists from any location to participate. All mediums and modes of expression are encouraged, including narrative, illustrative, conceptual, abstract, painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. The theme is open‑ended and may be interpreted in any manner, from mythic storytelling to abstract color fields.

The competition is open to international 2D and 3D artists aged 18 or older. Each artist may submit one entry consisting of a minimum of two digital images (additional images are optional). An entry fee of $25 covers the minimum two images, with a $5 charge for each additional entry. Submissions are accepted via the Café platform and must be received by 11:59 p.m. MDT on August 6 2026.

Selected artists will be featured in a virtual group exhibition that launches in mid‑September 2026 and runs for at least four weeks. The exhibition will be hosted on the Verum Ultimum website, accompanied by an exhibition catalog and extensive promotion across the gallery’s social‑media channels, which reach 40‑50 k followers. Artists retain all copyrights to their work; the gallery takes a 20 % commission on any sales and provides prepaid shipping labels for sold pieces. No housing or travel support is offered, as the exhibition is fully virtual.
