Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The In Studio Artist Residency at the California Center for the Arts Museum is a structured eight‑week program that supports visual artists working in any medium. Residents receive dedicated studio space, a $2,000 honorarium, a $1,000 materials stipend, and the chance to engage the public through open studios and programming. Each residency culminates in a solo exhibition at the museum in 2028, with an additional artist fee paid beyond the honorarium and stipend. Applicants must be 18 years or older, live within a 50‑mile radius of the museum in Escondido, California, and be able to work onsite at least two days per week. The application requires a short project proposal, artist statement, CV, up to ten images of recent work, and links to an artist website or social media. Two residency periods are offered in 2027 (January–March and April–June), and all materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM PT on November 10, 2026. For questions, contact museum@artcenter.org.
