Fondazione Hasselblad – Fotosalongen 2027

The Hasselblad Foundation presents Fotosalongen 2027, Sweden’s largest photography salon, inviting amateur and professional photographers across all genres to submit their work. The open call runs from 1 August to 18 October 2026 and is hosted by the Hasselblad Foundation in Gothenburg. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and either Swedish citizens or residents of Sweden; both individuals and groups may apply. Submissions consist of up to five still photographs (no video) or installations without electronic equipment, limited to one project per applicant. Selected works will be exhibited at the Hasselblad Center from 23 April to 26 September 2027, featured in the exhibition catalogue, and offered the opportunity to sell works to the public. Participants receive a compensation of SEK 3200, while transport of works to and from the centre is the responsibility of the artists. There is no application fee. The jury includes curators, photographers, and a film director, ensuring a diverse and high‑quality selection. This competition provides significant exposure to a broad audience of 70 000 visitors and positions emerging and established photographers within a prestigious international context.
