Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The Graham Foundation’s Grants to Individuals program provides annual funding to artists, scholars, and practitioners whose projects advance critical discourse on architecture, design, and related fields. Applicants submit an online Inquiry Form (available from September 15, 2026) and, if selected, a Proposal Form. Two grant types are offered: Production and Presentation grants (up to $20,000) for projects such as exhibitions, installations, films, videos, new media, publications, and public programs; and Research and Development grants (up to $10,000) for research activities, travel, archival work, and documentation. Grants must support projects that begin on or after June 15, 2027, and cannot be used for academic degree work. Eligible individuals are primarily based in the United States and Canada, though international applicants are also considered. Funding may cover travel, materials, supplies, and other project costs, but cannot be used for general operating expenses, faculty salary buyout, or K‑12 focused work. The program emphasizes originality, potential impact, feasibility, and the applicant’s capacity. Applications are reviewed holistically, and award decisions are announced in May 2027. The foundation does not provide housing, but travel support is permissible within the grant budget.
