The Toyama Glass Art Museum invites artists worldwide to submit works for the Toyama International Glass Exhibition 2027, an open‑submission triennial showcasing contemporary glass art. The exhibition aims to advance the field by presenting innovative works created primarily of glass. Applicants may be individuals or groups and can submit up to two works created since 2024. No restrictions on nationality, age, genre, or function apply. Submissions are made through the official exhibition website during the application period of July 1 – November 11 2026. The selection process includes a document screening (first judging) on 20 January 2027 and a second judging with the actual works in April 2027. Prizes include a Grand Prize of ¥3,000,000, Gold Prize of ¥1,000,000, Silver Prize of ¥300,000 (two works), and Jury Prize of ¥100,000 (six works). Winners of the top prizes will donate their works to the museum. All prize amounts are paid net of tax. The exhibition will run from 10 July 2027 to 11 October 2027 at the Toyama Glass Art Museum, Toyama City, Japan. Works will be returned approximately two months after the exhibition ends.
