City of Fort Pierce
Informazioni su Questa Opportunità
The City of Fort Pierce is inviting professional artists and artist teams to submit proposals for a permanent outdoor sculpture to be installed at the front entrance of Fort Pierce City Hall, located at 100 N. U.S. Highway 1. This public art opportunity is part of the city's ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces while celebrating Fort Pierce's unique identity, history, and culture. The selected sculpture should demonstrate artistic excellence, create a strong sense of arrival, engage viewers from multiple viewpoints, and be designed to withstand Florida's coastal climate. The project budget is up to $50,000, and the submission period runs from July 16, 2026 to August 16, 2026. Applications must be submitted through the CaFÉ online system and include a letter of interest, artist resume, portfolio, preliminary concept statement, proposed project timeline, professional references, artist website or social media links, a maintenance and protection plan, and a comprehensive project budget. Selection will be based on artistic excellence and originality, technical feasibility, durability and public safety, long‑term maintenance considerations, reflection of community identity, and the ability to complete the project within the established budget and timeline. For more information, contact Audria V. Moore, Special Projects Coordinator, at 772-467-3184 or amoore@cityoffortpierce.com.
