Esplorazioni digitali 2027

Digital Explorations 2027 is the Maryland Federation of Art’s (MFA) seventh annual juried exhibition dedicated to digitally‑produced art. The call welcomes artists residing in any U.S. state or territory, Canada, or Mexico to submit original 2D or 3D image‑based works created with digital software, including digital photography, painting, illustration, graphic design, video, animation, projection, and 3D printing. Submissions are uploaded through the ArtCall.org platform, with a maximum of six works per artist created within the past three years. Entry fees are $45 for one or two submissions (non‑members) or $30 (members), with additional entries costing $6.75 (non‑members) or $4.50 (members); fees are non‑refundable. The exhibition will be presented in MFA’s Virtual Gallery from February 15 to April 14, 2027, and includes an awards ceremony on March 1, 2027 where the juror will grant a total prize of $500. Selected artists may also sell their work through MFA’s Online Sales Gallery, retaining 80 % of sales (85 % for members) after a commission. The call explicitly excludes works generated by image‑generative AI, reproduced artworks, and pieces previously shown in MFA’s virtual gallery within the last three years. Applications close on December 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM, with notifications sent on January 14, 2027. The exhibition is open to all eligible artists, with the exception of those from sanctioned countries.
