A Guest Studio program for Israeli and international artists who are interested in a work space for a limited time at the Artists’ Studios, Jerusalem, for a specific project, artwork or research. No deadline - on rolling basis. While the permanent studio spaces are designated for a 3-5 year stay of Jerusalem-based contemporary artists, the guest studio space is designated for a short stay of artists/creators/researchers/writers from any place around the world and from diverse disciplines. The aim of the program is to facilitate different creative endeavors and collaborations, call more artists to enjoy the fruitful environment of the studios, and encourage the development of projects and artistic practices in the city. The artists will be selected by the artistic committee of the Artists’ Studios. The dates and duration of the stay will be established in accordance with the needs of the applicant, as well as the availability of the guest studio throughout the year. The program is open to both emerging and senior artists, who have at least a two year experience of independent work in all fields or art (visual art, dance, theater, writing and more). The participants in the program will have an accompaniment of the Artists’ Studios team who will help them get to know the local art field and the city of Jerusalem, and provide logistic assistance and professional advice for realizing the suggested activity. The program offers a work space at no cost. The cost of production and activity, travel or accommodation in Jerusalem will be financed by the participants, or financial support they will secure.
