Bando pubblico: Ambasciata planetaria sull’Avenida Paulista

Swissnex Brazil is launching its new location on Avenida Paulista with the São Paulo edition of Planetary Embassy, a global event series that explores planetary diplomacy through art. The open call invites photographers from Switzerland and Brazil to submit large‑scale works that envision alternative ways of relating to the more‑than‑human world. Selected pieces will be displayed on the iconic Avenida Paulista from 14 September to 1 October 2026, accompanied by a short artist statement. Applicants must be based in Switzerland or Brazil, with Swiss participants required to be current graduate students or alumni within ten years, and Brazilian participants limited to ten years of professional experience. Submissions must include a CV, portfolio, up to three photographs (portrait orientation, high resolution, 2.5 × 3.75 m print size), and a caption contextualising the image. Swissnex will cover production and installation costs, provide exhibition space, and offer visibility through its global network and participation in the Confluence Dialogues. The deadline for applications is 23 August 2026 by midnight Swiss Time.
