Premio Aion per l'arte digitale 2026–2027

The 2nd edition of the Aion Digital Art Prize, organized by Aion Laboratory – a division of Ise‑Shima Art Company in Japan – invites artists worldwide to submit digital and multimedia works. The competition accepts individual and collaborative pieces, including works already exhibited or awarded elsewhere. Eligible media include computer art, electronic art, digital installations, interactive systems, multimedia, video, animation, sound art, music, AR, VR and other new media practices. Each submission requires a link to the work and a description; the link must remain accessible until the results are announced. AI‑assisted work is allowed provided the artist explains the AI contribution; works created solely by AI are not accepted. The entry fee is JPY 3,000 per work, payable by credit card or PayPal, and is non‑refundable. The deadline for applications is 1 March 2027, 23:59 GMT. Winners receive a grand prize of JPY 50,000 and a printed certificate, with up to 35 additional Aion Digital Art Prizes awarded as certificates. The results will be announced on 5 May 2027. The competition is open to artists of any age and nationality, with no requirement to reside in or travel to Japan.
