The Teaching Artist Project (TAP) Signature Program is an intensive 8‑month professional development experience running from October 2026 through May 2027. Participants attend eight full‑day workshops covering topics such as community building, creative pedagogy, power and privilege in learning spaces, lesson‑plan design, and sustainable teaching practices. The program includes orientation, a graduation ceremony, and required elective workshops. Internships and externships are offered in schools and arts administration offices, providing hands‑on experience. Meals, breakfast, and snacks are provided during workshops, and additional virtual community‑building events are scheduled. Applicants submit a portfolio, résumé, and written responses; the application period opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 1, 2026. Selected participants are notified between September 7‑30, 2026.
