The Exploration Residency, run by Proyecto ace in Buenos Aires, Argentina, invites professional and emerging artists, curators and researchers from any discipline to apply for a 4‑8 week stay. Residents receive private or shared studios, technical equipment, mentorship, portfolio reviews, meals, a SUBE transportation card, accident insurance and the opportunity to present their work in an open studio format. The program also provides a stipend for living costs and a travel/material stipend, although exact amounts are not disclosed. Housing is offered through private apartments or shared facilities, and travel support is available. Applications are free and must be submitted individually (or as a team) by the deadline of 31 July 2026. The call is part of a quarterly cycle (January, April, July, October) and this is the third edition for 2026.
