Artspace Gallery’s Exhibition Committee is seeking proposals for solo, group, or joint exhibitions to be shown in the 2027 calendar year season at its Richmond, Virginia location (2833‑A Hathaway Rd., Stratford Hills Shopping Center). The call is open to artists of any genre and media on a national basis. Applicants must be professional visual artists; full‑time students are not eligible to apply for individual or joint shows. Each applicant may submit one proposal, which must include an art résumé/CV, a written exhibition proposal, preferred exhibition dates (four possible 2027 windows are listed), and 5‑10 image, video, or audio files. A non‑refundable $35 application fee is required via the CaFÉ platform, with fee waivers possible for hardship. Selected exhibitions will be announced by 13 Nov 2026, with shows scheduled in March‑April, April‑May, August‑September, or September‑October 2027. Artspace provides exhibition space, publicity support, a cash‑bar opening reception, optional artist talks, and a liaison to assist with installation. At least half of the works must be for sale, and the gallery takes a commission on sales. No housing or travel support is offered.
