À Propos de Cette Opportunité

The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), in partnership with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, offers the Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants to support artists who encounter sudden health‑related crises. Each grant provides a one‑time award of up to $5,000 to cover out‑of‑pocket medical, dental, or mental‑health expenses that impact the artist’s ability to continue creating. Eligible applicants are individual artists residing in the United States or its territories, working in visual arts, digital/electronic arts, video/film, or choreography. The program is open to artists of any age or career stage, and there is no application fee. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for each cycle, with the current deadline set for September 15, 2026. Successful applicants receive the grant directly from NYFA, with no additional obligations beyond providing a brief report on how the funds were used. This grant aims to alleviate financial stress caused by health emergencies, allowing artists to focus on their practice and recovery.
