Jentel Artist Residency, located 20 miles southeast of Sheridan, Wyoming in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, invites Wyoming‑resident visual artists, writers, and composers to apply for its Summer/Fall 2027 sessions (May 15 – December 7). Residents receive a private bedroom, a shared living area and kitchen, and a separate studio space. Each resident is provided a $300 weekly stipend to help cover living and food expenses. The application fee is $30 (non‑refundable) and a $100 reservation deposit is required after notification. Applicants must be at least 25 years old, be US citizens or US residents, and be Wyoming residents; full‑time students are not eligible, while post‑doctoral fellows may apply. Applications open on October 1 2026 and close on January 15 2027 (12:00 NOON Mountain Time). Selections are made by a panel of visual art, literary, and music professionals. Additional information, including a facilities tour and FAQs, is available on the Jentel website.
