The KODA Working Grant (arbejdslegat) aims to support the creation of new music within art music genres, including classical scores, audiovisual works, musical drama, electronica, game and film music, sound art and improvisation. It is open to individual composers and sound artists who are members of KODA and must apply with a personal CPR number; collective applications are not accepted. Applicants submit a project description (max ~2400 characters), a CV, and 1‑3 audio examples. Grants are awarded in two size categories: large grants of DKK 50,000 or DKK 75,000 and smaller grants ranging from DKK 10,000 to DKK 40,000 (typically up to DKK 25,000). The grant does not cover commission fees or recording/release projects. Applications open one month before the deadline and are evaluated by a committee. Successful applicants are notified within two months after the deadline. The grant has an annual deadline on 1 October, with the next round in 2026. The programme is administered from KODA's headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The composer must be a member of Koda. Please note that you must apply with your CPR no. and that it is not possible to apply for a work grant collectively.
