«Lively Lalor Laneways»: Murales y gobos. Convocatoria de manifestaciones de interés
City of Whittlesea
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
Lively Lalor Laneways is a creative placemaking initiative funded by the Victorian Government’s Multicultural Business Precinct Revitalisation Program and the City of Whittlesea. It will transform the Lalor Shopping Centre precinct (May Road and Rowy Lane area) with large‑scale murals, illuminated gobo projections, lightbox installations and community activities between 2026 and 2027. Artists are invited to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for two commissioned opportunities: a mural artist role and a gobo light‑projection artist role. The EOI period closes on 30 August 2026. Selected artists will receive a commission to create permanent public artworks that celebrate Lalor’s multicultural identity, with optional community‑engagement activities. The project offers public exposure, inclusion in a broader arts program, and the chance to contribute to a lasting urban artwork network.
Lo Que Se Ofrece
Commissioned public mural or gobo projection, exhibition of the work in the precinct, optional community‑engagement activities, inclusion in a city‑wide arts program.
Restricciones
