Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Young Picasso Art Competition 2026, organised by the Rotary Club of Shepparton South, is a community‑wide art contest aimed at young people in Years 4–12 and those aged 18–20. Participants may submit works in painting, drawing, multimedia, sculpture, and ceramics, with each student allowed up to two entries from different media. The competition culminates in a public exhibition held at Scott’s Uniting Church, Shepparton, from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026. Artworks will be collected from schools between 24 August and 4 September, and returned by 18 September. Open‑age participants (18–20) can deliver or pick up their pieces on specified dates. Monetary rewards, scholarships, and prizes will be awarded to recognise outstanding artistic achievement, encouraging continued participation in the arts. The event is free to enter, with no application fee, and offers a platform for young artists to showcase their work to the community. The competition is held annually, making it a recurring opportunity for students each year.
