Town Hall Seattle
Fecha Límite: July 19, 2026

Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Town Hall Seattle’s Fall 2026 Artist or Scholar in Residence program offers a four‑month paid residency (August – December 2026) for local artists, performers, journalists, researchers and other specialists. Residents receive a $3,000 stipend and up to $1,000 reimbursement for project‑related materials, fees, or production costs, as well as full access to Town Hall’s performance spaces and events. The role includes curating and producing two public programs—a “Scratch Night” in October for work‑in‑progress and a “Findings Night” in December to showcase the residency’s final outcomes. Residents also engage with Town Hall staff, contribute to community outreach, write for the blog, host workshops or conversations, and may introduce speakers on stage. Eligibility is limited to individuals 18 + who reside in Seattle, King County, or the broader Puget Sound region; duos or small groups are allowed if they apply as a single artistic entity. High‑school and undergraduate students, former Town Hall residents, and current staff or board members (and their families) are ineligible. Applications are free and must be submitted by Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM via the online form linked on the Town Hall residencies page. Selected applicants will be interviewed in person at Town Hall’s offices in early August.
