MASS MoCA: Vorab-Bewerbung für Residenzprogramme von Juli 2027 bis Juni 2028

The Studios at MASS MoCA invites visual artists and writers from around the world to apply for a residency in the July–December 2027 period. The program runs year‑round and hosts up to ten artists at a time for stays of two or four weeks. Selected artists receive a private, furnished studio space on the North Adams campus, private bedroom housing with shared kitchen and bath, one communal meal per day, optional studio visits with curators, one year of access to Assets for Artists online workshops, three months of MASS MoCA member benefits (free museum access, discounts, and access to The Clark Art Institute), and the opportunity to present work through open studios and artist presentations. Applications are accepted from September 1 to November 1, 2026 (11:59 pm EST). The residency is open to artists of all career stages and nationalities, with no application fee.

Open to artists of any nationality, any career stage, age 18+. Must self‑fund residency at $650 per week (no financial aid or fellowships considered). Group applications allowed. Applicants must be able to pay a 50% deposit six months before the start date.
